Very Disappointed in the Royal ♥♥♥♥♥ Course, Feel Ripped Off

Hopefully I can save someone some money. I've bought all the extra courses and have been very pleased until I made the mistake of buying Royal ♥♥♥♥♥. Without a doubt, the course was hastily designed to capitalize on the British Open. This is a very BLAND course, no extras, looks like an amataur designed it. Example - #11 the railroad hole, this stupid version does NOT have a railroad on it.

Please realize you buy these extra courses sight unseen and you CAN'T GET YOUR MONEY BACK. You trust Perfect Parallel to issue a quality course for $7.00. I did have a good opinion of this company until now. Money Grabbing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Most of the user designed courses for free are better than this!!! I'm very pissed off for being ripped off!!!

Yup, railroad tracks are there. The clubhouse looks just like the real thing. Mike Jones did a great job on this course.

Not for me. It's the best thing since sliced bread. :-)

$7 for this course is a steal. It's easily worth 2-3 times that. :-)

While the OP may be exaggerating a bit... it is troubling that the course lacks attention to detail, that one would expect from a Major Championship venue.

There have also been reports of jagged geometric shapes with straight edges, bulging from various areas of the course. Naturally, having long straight lines protruding from the ground, causes the golf ball to veer off course unnaturally.

There is a train that goes by Royal ♥♥♥♥♥ regularly; but, the train does not show up in the game. Yet, one of the fantasy couses, "Lost Tracks," designed by one of the Course Forge beta testers... in fact does have a moving train, with all of the sounds and everything. - So, we know it could have been done.

Also, there are no advertisments behind the teeing grounds, not even fake ones; no grandstands, and no television towers.

The course just doesn't resemble the look of The 2016 Open Championship.

Personally I don't give a rat's patootie about a train or advertising. If the course had 'em I'd be looking for a way of getting rid of 'em. :-)

It looks like a cheap rushed version of the course. Not detailed at all like the other courses that cost $7. Doubt I ever play it again because there are so many better courses.

I don't really care about fluff one way or another, either.

I do, however, care about jagged geometric shapes protruding from greens and other areas on the golf course... leading to the ball veering offline unnaturally.

Also, the last course released for $6.95, Muirfield Village, came totally without any clubhouse, whatsoever.

There's just a lack of attention to detail going on, and to some of us - it is untenable.

well,everyones entitled to there own opinion.no one made you buy this course,so you have no one to blame except yourself.i personally think the course is a brilliant peice of work(my opinion).you on the other hand hate it.So whose right and whos wrong.?ist all in perspective the way you personally view it.so dont buy anymore courses who cares.
