Game just fails to start

Exactly that. I go to launch the game. Nothing happens, no error message no CTD. It just won't start. This has been happening since the latest update. Prior to that, I'd get some kind of crash whenever I wanted to load a game from the main menu.

Also, I'll bring up task manager and i'll see the game's exe in the menu so I guess it IS loading in some way but you get the idea.
