got sector avarice

it serves a quick route between argon, boron, and teladi sectors.. any suggestions on what factories i should build in that sector? has any1 taken that sector and made major profitsssss??
any suggestions would be welcome tanxx :3

Avarice is a risk. In one game I played there was virtualy no traffic while in another it was heavy. I have a few station in that sector in one of my games, and I had to jumpstart trade by offering my products for a low price, when when the traffic was good enough bringing it up to a decent level. It's a risk, but for me they where worth the reward.

space fuel or space weed if in a teladi sector, i keep getting attacked by pirates when i grow that, i do find power is allways a good bet, if you can get cheep crystals.

thanks.. yup good ol space weed, 1MJ shields, energy, bofu, stott spices other boron teladi crap.... and in Xtended mod they placed silicon and ore asteroids in there too so thats good.... the only thing that sucks is the return im getting.. real slow..

plus wasted 40 million on that orbital space defense platform... *sigh* yea so far im not real happy with Avarice...

BTW i didnt buy it avarice thats gay.. just moved into it, cuz on the map it looked like a nice shortcut between argon boron and teladi sectors... but not so good

im playing X3:R v2.5 with XTM mod installed.. apparently 5 days into the game you'll get corporate blunder message in BBS on the stations near the "unknown sector" between montalar and new income. long story short its an auction for the unknown sector (for ownership) the sector will change name from "unknown" to "avarice"
you can make your first bid after it hits x amount (i dunno) just keep an eye on the BBS
u have to dock at trading station in avarice (to bid?)
u must have a high trade rank (not sure) Economist - Mater Economist - Manafacturer?
u usually win the bidding war at 650 million or 710 million
if you do not this guy BurnIt wins the bidding and then i dont know wot happens to the sector

honestly i just moved in there and started building (in vanilla the sector is empty and useless, but i noticed in XTM they put asteroids with pretty high ore and silicon yields).
the sector is huge! it took a long time for traffic to come through, it was pretty sad considering the money i spent build the factories there...
it was like 1 or 2 ships, and they would take 20 minutes to come from the gate to the factory, i should have BUILT CLOSER TO THE EAST GATE... i built right in the middle because aesthetics... wasnt thinking
after maybe like 3 hours or more the free traders finally started to pile in... the amount of traders coming through varies, when i look into the sector there could be anywhere from 4 to 12+ flying through.
long story short, focus on your other sectors!! if you are really really bored then conquer avarice!
i took nopileous memorial and hatikvahs fate and honestly there is so much traffic going through there its sick, especially hatikvahs fate! like 30 ships or more, i dumped one SPP with a small looop (ocasionally dumping some silicon in there to keep it running) and with all the traffic in that sector it alone makes 70% profit that my avarice sector does.. and thats just from selling Ecells so ...

Try putting some rastar oil and chelt meat a long with soyohusk set to mid range pricing , they will come in droves. {aravrice} Stay away from the orbittle plate-forms they dod not do go. Put Titans in that sector. They seem to be the only thing that does not go down for the count.
