Mods to improve gameplay and graphics?

Hello guys,

I wanted to know if there are any mods that I would need to improve gameplay (you know like the inventory mod for Skyrim) and also graphics without altering the universe or changing ships or anything. I like to play games as intended, but won't say no to a mod that might make the game more enjoyable.

And also, what is XRM like (X3 Rebalance Mod)?

Oh also, I was looking forward to getting my hands on Rebirth (and honestly it was the only game I couldn't pre-order last year) but as the comments go I won't be getting that for a while so the next best thing is X3 right?

X3:AP is probably your best bet. And yeah, stay away from Rebirth for a good while.

As far as mods go, check out the egosoft forums. There's a whole slew of them to choose from.

this doesn't change ships, but does add quite a few. the Popular XTM mod, i currently am playing with it and STO mod(Sector Take Over). it quite fun as now there's actually something for me to do besides wiping out xenon sectors for fun. tough part was deciding which faction i least needed to exist, split it was :).
