Developer Needs your feedback on Newest Version
I made some major adjustments to the equipment Enhancements in the newest version 1.4.0B

I did this because it's pretty crazy having 22 enhancements on one piece of equipment since there's less need to trade off for other equipment to get the perfect set of items for a highest combined amount of resisance, max attack, etc. since you can pretty much find one piece of equipment with everything you need on it.

So what I have done is this...

The maximium enhancements on any piece of equipment is now 15 (and that's very rare)

Unique equipment will usually have 7-8 modifications
Rare equipment will usually have 4-6 modifications
Magic equipment will usually have 1-3 modifications

+??? to Firecraft, Disarm, Lockpick, etc. on equipment has been limited to +7 max

The max (light, fire, silver) resistance on any one piece of equipment is now 33 (this forces players to find multiple items to add up the max res level intead of simply finding one piece that has +200 light res)

Please Let me know if this is going to be fun for most players since I know most people probably wont play hundreds of hours so it might be more fun to simply find OP equipment and play for 50 hours rather than have to search for the good stuff at 100+ subfloors.

Also... not sure if its not going to be as much fun without +50 firecraft skill (maybe that was most of the fun about this game.... one-shotting things down at sub floor 100?)

So let me know what you think?

Thanks

I plan on playing this for the long haul so that's fine with me,being able to customize your hideout would be nice though

I still feel like there should be a free roaming game mode... like basically after you finish the game 'you are emperor'... let the player just continue the game... now you completed all the quests, merry time dungeon diving until you are sick of it. Both gamers win?

Like first you have a basic rpg with quests, after you beat the game, your reward is endless dungeon crawling with great stats. :)

I just purchased this game and wow really nicely done. If you can keep things interesting and able to level character I plan on playing for a long time. Loot is always good and not a drag on grinding.

First, everything that those above said. Great suggestions that would enhance the game and time played. Having little things that help the "loot hounds" in us (ARPG players) keep pulling on the virtual slot machine/killing mobs are a good thing.

Second, a shout out to "Screamin N' Digital"...great name and a nod to a truely epic Queensryche album/song perhaps? ;) \m/

Third, Loot...how is storage dealt with? Can containers/vaults be expanded? Is there a limit? (most likely is) If so, can there be any way of having a "Shared Storage/Stash" so that different Class Alts can partake of items/drops with good stats?

If so, even if it's planned in a future build, I think this will be a game for me. In a ARPG/RPG I hate having to get rid of items simple because of not enough room ;)

Forth, ALL of what Incia said! Free roaming dungeoning ='s WIN or perhaps bump up the difficulty to a second Tier with better loot modifiers & harder monster stats and have another play through or 3 ;)

Best Regards,

Thx for all the hard work on what looks to be quite an amazing game/adventure!

Shared stash is something I thought about since it could be cool (big fan of it in games like path of exile, etc.) but not sure if it would make things too easy in Bloodlust - so want to get more feedback first... but enough players want it.. probably put it in.
I like the idea of shared stash also like in POE. Maybe have certain loot only available for class specific as to not make game to easy. Rolend44 name is from song don't know many people who even know of it from Queensryche.

Regarding the equipment enchantments I fully agree to minimize the max amount of res and also the amount of enchantments can be even downgraded further because in higher lvl you had with 2-3 peaces the perfect item resulting in no need for searching further.
I was on a point were I didnt even checked anymore the chests and vases during the Dungeon grind. So +++ from me for decreasing /reducing enchantments and modifications /per item.

The loot having lots of possible bonuses is definately fun. However the stat bonuses required get crazy very fast. Is there a way you could have the majority of the gear drop requiring class stats? Like witch gear that needs charisma and not 100 strength, criminal gear that only needs dex.. especially at the lower levels its hard to get all your stats to 50 or even 2 to 100. Right now my witch is wearing no armor in 3 slots because my str and dex stats are still 10. Even pathetic armor to let you change your look a little would be awesome rather than great stat gear I never keep. Ever. Yeah, still have starter knife too at level 7.

I've only been playing Bloodlust for two days, but absolutely love it! I am in awe that a single developer has created a game of such high caliber.

As far as I know, there is no way to respec your stat, talent, and skill points, and I feel in a game that your can invest so many hours in and really trash your character with poor point investment, respecs are a must. Part of the fun is tweaking your characters stats and skills until you find that perfect build for your play style, but having to start the game over from scratch to try a different build (or because you broke your character) always took the wind out of my sails in past RPGs. I think a Borderlands' redistribute approach might be cool; each respec costing more each time you do it.

Thanks for such an awesome game, WRF Studios, and keep up the great work!
