Hmm, that is pretty shady. In my experience a lot of games will be upgraded for those who already own them. There's a lot of greed in this industry these days.
Well I bought it for 3 euro. But It didn't patch my previous game, it installed itself as a stand alone. Oh well, I guess I have to do it all over again. to get the achievements. :)

Its available in the UK for £3-£5 but I don't understand why they've not released it as a DLC for the Original DXHR, as I REFUSE to Buy the Directors Cut just to play the same game I've already got and eventhough the Directors Cut has "New Game +", I can always get a trainer to match that for my original version.

Should of been just a darn patch, you devs remember what those are right?

But I guess you don't, since we use to get a patch for free back in the day. Now, they call them DLCs or an actual whole new game like ' 'The Screwed Up Game:The Director's Cut!'. Seems like our version of the game no longer exists period, and it don't matter that we already bought 99% of this 'new' game already. Hell with this. Who's this director anyways? What was the 'cut' or the addition, or the fixes made? Where were you when the original game was being made under your 'direction'? You obviously weren't 'Directing' it back then by the looks of it. Anyways, good ridance. You're not getting another dime out of me.

Oh, and....this is just freakin funny.....You can't even write a review on the game since it's simply just gone from Steam. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they pull down the forums for it. Just you watch.

seems that the DC version is worse then the none DC version, while I was also tempted to get the DC version, I think I will stick with the none DC version, the bosses aren't that hard if you got the right weapons, or tactics, (mainly the first boss is probably the hardest in the game IMO (none DC version) the others are easy if you got the revolver with the explosive rounds mod.

There are articles about how you should be able to upgrade cheaply, especially if you own the DLC and the game. Seems if I want directors cut I have to pay for everything all over again though. What gives?
Directors Cut isn't even worth it. The version is a bloody mess. Compeltely rushed, it's an unpolished turd. Stick with the original.
