Completed the game on Give me Deus Ex, but no achievement?

So I chose Give me Deus Ex and have been playing the entire game like that. Just finished the story and all but I only got the Trooper achievement. Is there a time to achieve it in or something?

idk, I doubt it. I think you can download save files and finish the game with them to get the achievement. Getting the achievement for beating it on Give Me Deus Ex as a pacifist is the only achievement I've ever cared about because it gives you a significant choice in how to play the game and its hella difficult.

Did you ever drop it down to an easier level to get past something?

No... I'm so confused and dissapointed.

I think my brother wanted to have some fun one time and put it lower? But I never picked up an autosave or had to place the difficulty back...

So, you let your brother play some of your current campaign, but you don't know what he did? Why don't you ask him.

It's highly likely he messed with the difficulty settings...

He might have been playing on my rig while I was at work, I don't know. It's just a theory.

I just beat it on the Deus Ex mode & didn't get the achieve either ; ;
I also reloaded from the last autosave to see all the endings + that didn't trigger too.
Besides difficulty reset is there anything else known to break it?

Nice to know I am not the only one. So my guess is some update ruined it for us.

There is a gap of 6 months for me between beginning the game and finishing it.
