Where did my guest passes go?

Where did my guest passes go? When I activated this game, I got 6 guest passes. I want to give the guest passes to 6 of my friends to hold a contest. I'm in the process of picking which 6, and suddenly all of my guest passes are gone. I made sure to read all of the fine print on them, and they had no expiration date.

This is very frustrating and I hope someone can fix this.

I'm reading around a bit, and it seems that Steam will remove guest passes after an undisclosed amount of time, without warning or notification. It doesn't help that the guest pass section of Steam support seems to have been removed too.
