Unplayable on MAC M.Lion? Screen issues

Has anyone else got a problem with this where the game only starts in a quarter of the screen - you cannot change launch options in steam that make a difference, and the mouse is not able to click on any of the game buttons. Just a title screen, wrongly sized. Is this an absolute dud?

I tried the demo from their website and I have M.Lion 10.8.4. The game starts in full screen mode and the title screen looked off. But after going into the options (click the "I" button) I was able to change it to "window" instead of "screen" then quit the demo then start again in "window" mode and everything seemed to work. The title screen still seemed off but everything else worked fine in the demo.

I'm having the same problem. Would like to play this game but not sure how to :o( I can press the i button but then can't click on anything in that screen to change the resolution mode

The mac build seems to be unplayable.

The current build breaks on Macintoshes with retina screens. The game library used by DHSGiT is old and it's developers have yet to fix the bug.

There is another workaround to start the game in window mode. Go to this folder:
~/Library/Application\ Support/Mousechief/RPBG/DHSGiT_v1_1_0/

create a text file in the folder. name it "wind"

when you launch the game it will start in window mode
