Discount change?

It's now saying 33% off duringthe Beta rather than 50% off?
Is it a pricing error, or is it so it can "suddenly" be 50% (or more please) during the summer sale. Or is it the discount HAS changed? If so it's quite annoying seeing as all along Allegorthmic has been saying 50% off during the beta. It's still IN beta.

This was just a mistake and has been corrected to -50% off. It will return to -33% off after the Steam sales.

If it's a a point that it's going to be version 1 release by the nend of the sale though, congratulations.
I'm just a bit sad tht I might have to miss out on this for the moment due to funds at the moment but wish every success to Substance Painter.
Fingers crossed for tighter integration with ZBrush, 3D Coat and, well just about everything.

Ooh, Wes, while you're looking here, do you have 3D Connexion support in place yet?

Yeah being at the end of the month a lot of us don't have the funds. But we would only a few days after it ends. Such bad timing for something at this price.

I can say that the beta period will not end after the Steam Sales. I can't say the exact date, but you will still have time to purchase at a discounted price.

During Steam Sales, we are offering at the sale price of -50% off. As we approach the full release, the price was increased to 33% off. This happened at beta release 5. We are now at beta 7 - 8. The Steam sale is back to -50% off, but the software will still be available at -33% off after the Steam Sale.

My gilrfriend didn't know about Steam discounts and just about the discount for the beta and buyed the software yesterday for me at 33% instead of 50% for just few hours.
I'm glad she take it for me anyway, but quite disappointed for this as it wasn't stated clearly in the page in the previous days that the discount had a precise end date different than the beta period.
You may give a refund and another week while correctly specifing it as this doesn't look extremely fair.

The problem is Steam doesn't allow them to package things clearly when there's two sale types going on.
Or doesn't give them the right tools to do so I believe.

I wish it would have shown up as a none Family Share.
I got the indi kit mostly for my sister. I'll still use it once in awhile but that's a lot of money. And she would use it a lot more. Now I have to let her use my account just to do her work.
That's a problem.

The 50% off sale was through the Steam Sales. The Packs are still discounted as we get closer to the official version 1 release of Substance Painter.

I'm very sorry for the confusion. Some pricing changes have been made through the beta as SP gets closer to release. We definitely didn't want to hide anything. I was confused as well when the changes were first announced as to the price.
