Option to invert input on gamepad?

Hullo,

I've been playing this game w/the keyboard for a long time, but as you might have guessed from the thread title I recently got an X360 controller and was pleased to see it was compatible with this game, yet not so pleased when I realised the input for the left side (Lstick/d-pad) corresponded to the arrows, and the right side (Rstick/ABXY buttons) was the input for the circles with no option to change it.

For the entirety of my time playing this game on keyboard I had the circles correspond to WASD and the arrows to the arrow keys, so the as of right now unchangeable controller input makes it so the controls are horizontally mirrored in relation to the ones I've been using for the past 30+ hours of play.

Even though I've tried to get used to this I still get messed up by muscle memory pretty often, so I'd think a way to rebind or at least horizontally mirror the controller input would be a big help. I'm honestly surprised at having found no previous mention of this in the discussion.
