What happened to RCT4?

Why isn't there a new RCT on pc, yet? Is been like 7 years. What happened to the company!?! I heard they made a 3DS version of RCT.

Atari went bankrupt. I'm not sure who picked up the rights to RCT, but the 3ds version did not go over very well, so it may not ever happen.
