Have the PS4 version but....
I am considering buying the PC version. The reason being I am really enjoying this game but there are some severe framerate issues on the PS4, which I can get past. But what I can't tollerate is the hideously long load times transitioning into the real time action, combat / shops etc.

Are the load times just as bad on the PC? It is hard to judge by videos i've trried to watch. My system is current so i'm not worried about issues on that end. Any info would be appreciated.

It was pretty bad in Early Access, but now it runs a lot more smoothly. Then again, I've also built a new PC since I last played it. Not sure if the game is more optimized or if it's my computer.

Perhaps both. Someone else may know more.

The PC version feels very well optimized and the transition between encounters are completly fluid. No noticeable hang-ups or loading times to speak of, the background just fades to black and back. It does take around 5 seconds for the first card animation to play out before you can skip into action though.

My Specs:
Intel Core i7-4960X @ 4.3GHz
32GB 1600MHz DDR3 Quad Channel Memory
4TB RAID 1+0 (4x 2TB SATA 6Gb/s, 7200RPM, 32MB Cache)
Windows 8.1 Pro (64Bit)

With similar specs you shouldn't have any loading times what so ever. I bet 16GB memory and any high speed HDD or SSD drive will yeld the same performance, but it's just a guess. Maybe someone with a different build can help share some light on thing.

Thanks for the replies it is sounding like it does run better than the console. Still gonna wait for a few more replies but i appreciate the feedback :)

OK well nm, my patience ran out and was picking up a few other games so I decided to take the chance. I am happy to say it appears I chose the Huge Success card. Not only are the framrate & load times better than the console by a mile but it looks even better too as an added bonus.

Thaanks again for the replies, just wanted to drop in and give the final verdict in case someone else is in the same situation that I was.

Hi. I'm in the same situation right now. It's on sale on ps4 for almost 7$. Does the game still have issues on ps4 or should I wait on a sale on pc?

PS4 and XBoxOne both have Murder At Sea and Wildcards

This is not true for all regions. EU still can't access the DLC in the PSN store. I know this, becuase I'm in the EU region and I still can't buy or access the DLC in my PSN store, and I just checked...

That's great! I, for one, have an ancient PC, so I can only enjoy the game on my PS4. And I am loving it :). Good to hear the dlc is getting sorted out, I wanted to support your studio some more :)

The DLC is still not available for me to purchase, and it's been two weeks since it should have been available.

Yep. It's been a string of challenges for us - you'd think it would be easy, with it already released in other territories, but each Sony branch works slightly differently. We want it out as much as you do!
