New (1621:1622M) build is up - beta
A new patch has been uploaded

Please find the changelog below.
We would really appreciate your feedback.

As of 9th October the update is available in beta version.
To download it.
Go to your STEAM client library. Use RMB on the Worlds of Magic. Select properties. Go to betas Tab. Change NONE to beta.

Looking good I will check it out to keep up the great work I wonder what are the plans for the next big update?

- Berserker special abilitiy is broken - not only that they can't be used, the spell book can't be closed.
- Skalds and Manslayers are supposed to use special abilities, but I was not able to find/use them in battle or world map
- no Orcish units can use siphon (on nodes)
- Manslayer after few level-ups has 700+ HP (WAD or glitch?)
- heroes seems to work ...
- when one spell from enchantments panel is disabled, all active spells dissapear from that panel (after clickin on other panel, like alchemy, then back the remaining spells are seen again)
- when one unit has 6 spells active, I deactivate only one, all spells from that unit dissapear (while I still pay for them per turn normally)

Spell book is still broken (when I close it with extra info active, after reopening the info page is still there, but also spells are rendered -> double render)

When you hit the "i" for many of the spells, the descriptions are messed up and say weird things, like CHANGE ME or something like that.

We are planning to keep the patch in beta stage for about week in total.
There are still few things we would liek to add, before releasing and announcing.
So where do i find the code to unlock the beta? or is it closed?

Yep, just right click Worlds of Magic in your Steam Library, go to BETAS an select beta, that's it.

Anyone else having problems loading saved games?

The section where you craft weapons is not working. I was able to make a sword for the hero and that worked well. I made many others things (armor, helmets, etc..) it would say completed, but there was no way to go get them over the to Hero's inventory screen. They just vanished, I guess.

I also was wondering if these crafted weapons could be used on regular units eventually? I say that because it seems like there is a greyed-out shield on many of the regular units.., as if something could be put there.

I think I read this somewhere, but to be sure - none of the naval stuff is working. I built everything and no ships were able to be built.

yep, naval (ships) units are no-go yet.
Items: I did struggle with this one too, but then I realized -> I have to open the Hero inventory AND click the item category (like weapon-swords, armor-shields) then the crafted item was shown in the list below and I was able to drag-n-drop it to hero's equipment area.

giving crafted items to units would
1.) cause crazy micro-management (from both game mechanics also from player perspective)
2.) would degrade hero management (and usefulness) make some veteran regular armies OP

My recent encounters:

Cities near map border (obviously the city is losing land-potential + it looks gross. Either make the map endless-loop scrolling, or do not put land 2 squares from borders during randomization IMO):
