No widescreen support?
Is there a widescreen support? If so, how can I set my resolution to 16:9 (1920x1080)? There are only 3 options in my settings and all of them are for square screens.

My second display is square, however, but then again, is there a way to switch monitor for this game only?

I usually run mine in windowed mode. When I enable fullscreen in the options section on my 16:10 widescreen display, I see the black bars on the side of the game when it fills the screen. I prefer black bars on the sides of older games over the game being stretched to fill a widescreen. If your's is being stretched when in fullscreen mode, look into you video card's advanced settings. Sometimes they include an option to display the aspect ratio based on the video source which keeps it from being stretched. On the other issue of a secondary display that has a 4:3 aspect ratio, try the following. Run COGS in windowed mode and drag it to your secondary display (assuming it's in extended desktop mode). Once it's on your secondary display, enable fullscreen mode. It may fill up the display that it is active on. I do this with Adobe Acrobat Reader from time to time. Hope that helps.

It's been a while, I'm not playing this game currently (well, maybe I'll get back to it to finish what I've left). But thank you for the tip, I'll keep that it mind if I come across such issues in future.

Finally someone with a 16:10 screen. I have one too. Would like to have you in my friends, you can add me if the same is true for you :)

Thanks for the invite; but, unfortunately I have to decline due to spam bots taking advantage of the Steam Community network. I was getting so many spam invites from bots that I had to drop ALL of my nearly 200 Steam friends that I had made over the years. I did everything I could think of before "unfriending" everyone on my list and resigning from all Steam Groups. As a programmer, I realized that the spam bots are joined to a public group, then they spam everyone that shows up as "In-Game" within that group. Once someone in that group accepts the invite, the spam bot has access to that individual's friends list and group list. The bot continues the same spamming technique with each friend in that individual's lists which creates a huge web of lists that the bot has access to. Even if you make your profile private, your friends can still access your lists. The bots exploit the one thing Steam uses to advertise different games among friends. When a friend starts a game, that info is sent to all clients on their friends list. While you can turn off the displaying of the messages sent "to your client", there is no option to turn off messages being sent "from your client" when you start a game. I figured this out when I stopped playing multi-player games for a time and only played single player games. Without fail, I would get spam invites AFTER I started the single player games. If I didn't play for days, I would usually get no spam invites. I tried dropping the Steam Groups first, but there were so many friends on my friends list that had bots on their lists that it was a losing battle. Since I dropped all Steam Community ties, I've received zero spam invites. This makes YOUR genuine friend invite painful to say no to, because I have made some really good friends over the years. Until Steam can figure out a process to stop spam bots and implement that process, I have to sail alone on the sea of video games through the Steam Community (okay, maybe that was a little too dramatic). Others usually say, "I just block them and report them to Steam." I did that for a long time, but my blocked list was growing faster than my friends list! LOL It was also taking the fun out of the Steam Community for me to have to block spam bots all the time. I've never heard a peep from Steam support on the issue, neither privately nor publicly. On the plus side, glad to hear about the 16:10 display you have. They seem to be a dying breed these days. But who knows, touch screen tablets were introduced years ago and were pretty much abandoned before they gained the popularity that they enjoy today. I hope you have a great day; and, game on!

The support is simply not added You can editor the memory location of the resolution as it's Directx 9 it's even in plain old decimal

Screen coords are a little off requires a bit more than couple of mins work i cbf looking harder cya.
