That fixed that issue for me, thanks. The look inversion is still a major sticking point for me though and I'll have to play this game with mouse + keyboard for the time being.
Even better, I see in the .cfg there is an option for 'joy_inverty' but when I set it to 1 from 0 not only does this not do anything but when I check again after loading the game it is reset to 0.
Frustrating, especially considering the wording of the Master Edition update ( blah blah worked hard to address EVERY ISSUE blah blah) and the fact that I've waited now for almost 6 months to play this game. How can I recommend it to anyone else (which, based on what I've READ about the game I may want to) if I can't even play it? Not to mention it is extremely frustrating and not a little unprofessional to have an option on the Options screen that does absolutely nothing.
Seriously running out of patience here.
If anyone figures anything out with the .cfg (config.cfg , i don't remember the exact location but I think maybe the Config folder?) please post it here. I've played with an inverted y axis for 20 years, I'll be damned if I'm changing now.
