We don't have a solid release date at the moment because it's difficult to gauge how many technical obstacles we'll run into. There's a lot of things we'll be learning and trying for the first time. But we're roughly planning on a PC release in the spring of 2019 which gives us a year to wrap up the content and get all the features working. However, if we run into issues we won't release the game until it's ready. On a personal note, I would rather wait longer for something then get something early that's broken.

go out and make a great game on release. if you offer a pre-order i'll be the first to buy it. i love the original and will most likely play the sequel even more. Any ideas about price point? will it be $5 like OFDP 1 or $10+?

But one advantage of EA is, that so the players can help you find bugs and mistakes way faster, right? You get lots of new employees without paying them, actually they'll even pay you for it!!
