Dev Diary - Feathers, Search & Something Else

We've been working on several new features with the biggest being feathers. You've probably seen them on the Score Card, but now they have a greater impact in-game as they'll be linked to your online profile. Plus we've been working on a new search that has a few extra views and something else ;)

Is the new search going to let you search by author, or by a word in the level name? That's a feature we sure could use.

One step at a time ;) However you can Search by creator on the website by clicking their name:

If you know the username but the person hasn't made anything recently, you can click on another author and then manually change the URL, i.e.

http://cc3d.chuckschallenge.com/Creator.php?search_filter=**********&search_type=3&page_size=10&page_number=0

where you replace the asterisks with the person you're looking for.

Problem, I've gone through the asida levels and recompleted them without rewind and several have not awarded me with the feather. I don't know why since the only thing I did was restart but some of the levels I restarted on was fine and some were not and I got quick time for some and some I took abit more to remember how to do them... So restarting and finish time do not appear to affect earning the feather and I have gone through some of them again & completed them again without rewinding or even restarting and some gained the feather then & some did not...

I was noticing this, too. If you click to go to the next level before the medal appears and circles you, the feather will not be counted.

So basically, at the current time you have to wait to receive it and if you click next it doesn't count. Hmm... at least that does mean it can still be collected

Chuck’s Challenge 3D and Ben 10 Game Generator 5D both share the same engine. However they have different logic and Game Elements. The good news is this means that while we've been polishing the engine for Ben 10 Game Generator 5D, we’ve also been able to update Chuck’s Challenge 3D too. So today we've released an update for Chuck’s Challenge 3D which includes:

• Faster Server
  
• Refined Mini-Blur
  
• New Tap Control

Plus we’ve been fixing lots of minor bugs, but also two big ones:

1. Play Bug - the game not always remember you’ve completed a level if the server is being slow to respond.
   
2. Create Bug - not always being able to load levels you’ve save locally
