Martin has released a nice tool that should be easier to help people out. With save issues as well as unlocking completed save files. Check it out.

NOTE: I'll keep the below here for the sake of archival purposes, however my little tool should be considered outdated, as Martin's is quite feature complete, and is transparent. (It's a plain text, script file)

NOTE: Achievements should work if you enabled debug menu, get unstuck, then save and disable it. No guarantee though. Always make a backup of your saves.

For those curious -

Debug Mode = 62666E0100000001A988
Normal Mode = 62666E0100000000A988

This is the most reliable hex pattern I could find.

Requires .NET Framework 3.5(Or greater)
Tool is compatible with save version 3, as indicated by decompiling the game.

I have no idea what you mean. The x number indicates for which profile, which save is assigned(allocated) as you can create more than just one profile in game. There is no way it can help.

Yea the number is for the profiles 0 - first, 1 - second, 2 - third.
If someone uploads their profile I can teleport them. They should make a backup of their profile save too.

I believe that appears to be a long standing bug, that is on the patch list. I'll try to see if I can figure out what's going on, and hack up a fix, in the meantime.
