Are any of these things useful? Like are they apart of a quest later on. when i get 10/10 a good thing or is that just my max.

Are they simply just vender trash to make money?

of all the items you can collect the CD Roms have names on them like they can viewed or something?

Rings, fancy and normal watches, car stereos, morphine, prescription meds, and such like are vendor trash. They exist purely to make you money. Raising your Haggle feat increases how much you get paid by vendors and lowers the price of stuff they sell you.

The video tapes usually are quest items. It depends on the item really. I'd have to know specifically which items you're talking about.

I know Morphine can be used has a quest item for Mercurio when he got beat up. And I think Heather when you first meet her in the Hospital.

After that first bit with Mercurio, morphine's only useful if you recruit an elderly English butler with a smack problem as a ghoul.
