Game crashes at boss

I've been able to kill the boss 3 times but two of those result in the game crashing, is there a workaround?

It can be hard out there for the wielder of the titular 'Manus Dei', however, rest assured that there is a very clear 'pocket' in this game and I'm going to teach you how to find it for yourself.

The optimization is bad, whenever there are many enemies and you start shooting at them the fps drops a lot, i know im playing on a laptop that is the bare minimum but this is a simple game with simple models and it eats a lot of resources for no reason, even at low graphics, i dont know if there is supposed to be music because all i can hear is a humm and maybe some music when im shooting at the alternative weapon mode, but it is deafened by the gunshots and splash sounds, which makes me sad because the music on the trailer sounds really good. The game quickly devolves into you running in circles and shooting at whatever is on the middle or following behind you over and over again.
