Can't use Bless or Magic Shield! Please Help!

This is really annoying. When I select spells like Bless or Magic Shield and then click on the person I want to Buff it doesn't work!

Does anyone else have this problem? I'm using the Interface mod. Dunno if it's causing it but the game is simply unplayable without it.

I just started the game so I have the default army that the Mage gives you. I'm trying to bless ANYONE. Peasants, that pixie chick. But it doesn't work. I click on them and nothing happens.

Where are you exactly, after dragon in the dungeon? Or outside already?

I didn't have this problem with the short time I played without the "Interface improvemetn mod". Guess I can try reinstalling it.

If you are using scrolls, you have to have magic crystals. If your hero is doing it, need to have mana, if a unit is doing it, they need to be level 1 or 2 (I think). As for unplayable, I have fought many many battles without spells before, so not really true.

Thanks for the help. Yeah it was the mod. They're both a blessing and a curse. I'll just get a Font size mod. Cause I strain my eyes way too much without it.

lower the resolution? My eyes are bad (over 50), but I seem to be able to read stuff just fine at 1600x900. I'm sure a lower res would be even easier. What res are you playing at?

I don't have these spells at the moment nor any vendors do, but I could bless them with the priest skill. I don't have any mods installed so I can't tell you if that affects the game, sorry.
