Yes Windlands, Crystal Rift, Virtual Desktop, Adr1ft and Elite Dangerous have ALREADY DONE IT
Adr1ft- Had to email support with copy of proof of steam purchase
Virtual Desktop- Key was provided when started up in Steam
Crystal Rift and Windlands- Filled out a form online
Elite Dangerous- Key was provided on account page of website
Dead Secret- http://robotinvader.com/blog/ - You can see on the blog that the developer will provide keys for both
I'm a little torn on this, I've been waiting to play this game, I bought it last year in a period between when VR support was anounced, and an october post saying the VR version would be a separate purchace. This 9.99 DLC to enable VR is a perfect way to handle it, and I have no problem compensating a developer for all the extra work that goes into supporting VR. The only problem is getting caught between a rock and a hard place. I can either upgrade the steam version to VR for a very reasonable 9.99 but be unable to launch it through oculus home with my other VR games, or I rebuy the game + VR support for 29.99 just so I can have it organized with my other VR games.
In the future this won't be a problem I figure, since I'll just buy things in the oculus store going forward, but we're in an awkward point where it just launched, and there are a lot of exsisting games that we had no other way to buy them than through steam.
thanks for all your posts, that's incredibly helpful. If all works fine, we should start handing out Oculus Store keys soon.

Thats fantastic to hear! I can't wait to finally play through this game.
I am sorry that we kept you waiting but we needed time to discuss the situation within the team and seriously consider all pros and cons of handing out Oculus keys to those who own Ethan VR on Steam. In the end, we came to the conclusion that a) this process would be too time-consuming for our small team; b) there is a risk that people who receive Oculus keys can easily sell them to someone else rather than use them on their own accounts and we do not have the tools to control or prevent it. However, if Oculus comes up with a system that allows owners of the Steam VR games to automatically redeem Oculus keys, we will definitely join it.
Thank you for your understanding and we are really sorry if you feel disappointed.

Game got VR added, then a month or 2 later you tell it was a mistake, then you release a VR version of the game and tell people they will get an Oculus key and now this. Over 15+ developers have found a way to do this.
Also this is not something really hard to do, you add the oculus keys to the game on Steam as a 3rd party key for those that bought the VR version. And users can simply grab the key from there. So that's a very simple and barely non time consuming way for you.
The whole reason of folks selling their key is also a bit far fetched, as the only people who bought the VR version have a Oculus and they would use the key them self. Not to mention that the sales for the VR version are not that high up to this point.
