Texture Export (with or without batch processing)
If someone makes a character let them export out the Texture map for that model so they can have replacement textures for the characters instead of needing to make X number of character all with a minor difference in texture.
If it can batch process a collection of differences in materials that would be even better.
Ability to bake in all the blend shapes into the character and allow the game engine to hook into them.
(Hoping you can work with Leadwerks to natively support it)
A more detailed and higher poly count LOD, as most PC game engines out now can easily handle 60k-70k poly characters in a multiplayer game.
Allow both the Female and Male Locomotion packs to be free (with an idle animation), so folks can have a variety of movement motions to the Characters, so they can have easy wandering NPCs in their games.
More modifications/controls on the animations you can load into the character like; female hip sway, elbow in/out, arm sway, leg stride, etc.
Is it possible to export the faceplus animation from Unity to other appz?
You do realize this announcement was before Adobe bought them out right? You do also realize that since then they said they have no idea what the future holds?
In other words the OP means nothing as the developers already said as much
I can't help but think that has Adobe been holding it back since then until they take full ownership of Mixamo, for unpleasant reasons.
