Is my game missing content ?

Hi all ,

i enjoy the game but i 've wanted to add this cool park from the workshop

they come from different uploader and they give me the same result in game :

The parks work well but :
i don't have the "red/orange flower floor " nor the fountain ...

I try to edit them but i cant find this item in my game/asset editor
I've try to check the intregrity of my file via steam => same thing
I' m reinstalling the atm.

any idea ?

hmm. Do you have the pre-order DLC with the botanic garden? I think that flowers are from there.

Ok, let me refrase. The red flower beds. Are they ingame (cause I can't find them) or did someone make it in a 3D modeling program and import it in the asset editor?

So i've been investigating on that.

It seems to be content from Deluxe Edition ...

i've try another asset that is just a modification of the touristic stats of the original Botanic Garden included in the Dlx Ed.

so what a mess will it be when DLC & extensions will come ?
I mean if we don't have the same basic 3D models , the workshop will be a big mess. If you don't have the extensions and/or DLC you won't be able to have access on the workshop content properly...
Why 3D models are not contained in the asset ? To limit access and so u have to pay for a F*
flower beds.

Note that we can't upgrade from standard version to Deluxe, you have to re-buy a full version of Deluxe ED.

I see a few problems here that needs handling.

1. Assets need to be tagged to show where they come from (DLC, Another mod et cetera)
2. Modders need to mention that their mods rely on DLC (Or autotagged by the game when uploaded to the Workshop)
3.The game needs to tell you that assets are missing and their origin.

I'll mention this to Moo - I'm sure he can get it sorted with the devs. As for not owning the Deluxe or Preorder DLC - I have a feeling both will be made available for all customers within a week or two.

Same with the Pre-Order pack.
Being a dog owner, I added a generic dog park from the workshop only to discover that the various dog park specific items are missing...because I don't have the Pre-Order DLC. Bummer.
