Anyone having sound crackling issues?
For me it's just in this game, there is minor sound crackling/popping. No idea how to fix it... :(

Okay so it's not just me, It's just in this game for you though right?

Exactly the same here. And it's bothering me a bit tbh behause it destroys the fantastic immersion within the Game :( i Hope the devs can fix this.

The Problem also only persists in this Game. Hundreds of other Games that ive tested on my pc throughout the past 3 years worked flawlessly.

Ive an Asus xonar dx soundcard. Please fix this @devs. The Game is a masterpiece but this should be fixed:)

I think it may be from the ambient nose. I'll do some testing. Btw I have reinstalled my sound card drivers and disabled all effects in my sound options and nothing seems to work.

Mine is fine, built in sound on MSI 970 gaming motherboard.

I experienced cracking sound first few minutes of a game and then it's gone. Pretty weird, it always happens when I start a new game.

I have this issue as well. On board audio. Its quite jarring. No fix found yet. Guess a patch is in order.

In game sound levels are not uniform.

There could be 2 different issues causing this.

One is a sound issue (too much gain on an already hot signal creates distortion)
The other is a DAC issue with conflicting/different sample frequencies (Digital to Analog or Analog to Digital converter).

For issue one, CO has to even out the levels/unify the sound levels.

For issue 2 you could check the sampling rate setting of your soundcard (44.1 kHz (CD), 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, or 96 kHz or even 196kHz)
Your card probably is 48kHz (being an audio card). Try changing it to 44.1 and see if it still happens. Or try 96kHz even.
(To do this, righ-click the "speaker icon" in the bottom right corner. Select "playback devices".
Then slect your card and go to properties. Thre should be a tab displaying the sample rate settings. Go from there)

Got this problem too. With an integrated sound card and Realtek audio drivers.

Odd that it doesn't do this on all systems, I fear that will make it hard for the Devs to track down.

i have the same crackling. It sounds the music just skips abit.
simonmd 12/mar./2015 às 9:41
Couldnt be a RAM issue causing the music to skip?
「Raigara」 12/mar./2015 às 9:42
my ram is not even near 100% usage and its not broken either (even tested it a few days ago)
