Unabale to connect to 2k sports server?

after entering my cd key and usernam for the first time, the game opens and tells me that It cant connect to 2k sports server. Any way to fix this other than reinstalling and entering info again?

you need to reply on "their" confirmation email to evaluate your account after that it "may" take some hours but usally its up in minutes to set up your account...make sure you have an exeption for nba2k14 in your firewall settings...have fun.

I have not recieved their confirmation email, this is so frustrationg.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, in order to go through the user setup again to correct the issue, however upon reinstallation the user setup and cd key screen was completely bypassed. It then tells me that it is unable to connect. This sucks. I have no email from them so I am not really sure what to do at this point...

I'm in a similar position. I've re installed my game coz I just got a new HD but when I input my account details I can't get past the title screen. Sent a reuest to 2ksupport. No word yet and its been a couple of days. SO FRUSTRATING!!!!

Having exactly the same problem myself, sent a request in a few days ago also and i haven't heard back either. if they dont get back to me soon they can forget me buying NBA 2K14 on next gen.

ok, from what I have read. We need to delete 2k froim the registry completely, or any remains of it that is. I do not know the procesess exactly but I will have more time tonight and try, If anyone fixes their problem please update the post.

Fix: windows start menu - in the search box type"regedit"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER - Software - NBA 2k14

In the NBA 2k14 folder, delete everything except "(Default)"

Next time you boot game, it will ask you to sign in to your 2k account again. Just log in and it should work.

My problem is that when I reboot the game, I have to go through this process again because I will get the 2k servers are down message. Anyone have a fix for that?

I think you are on the right track though. I think this issue might have something to do with the registery. I wish I could just copy my old registery over my new one hahaha. I do still have my old system on my now secondary drive

Has anybody even heard back from 2k yet? I guess because it's the weekend we wont hear back?

this is very annoying, i get the sign in screen now everytime but even with the correct credentials it will not let me sign in to the server, even after resetting password. This will be the last time I purchase nba 2k on pc, all this trouble and when I finally do get online the connection to the oponent will be garbage anyway atleast 89 percent of the time.

Yeah last year I got the disc version and there was a huge ♥♥♥♥ up with that. And now this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!! The other thing that bothers me is that it takes forever to resolve the problem as well!!

I only play on My Player career so i just decline the terms each time i load it up and just stick to playing offline
