I think it's because the Daedalic games are made using Wintermute, which currently does not support Linux. Would love to see some of these games available for Linux too though.
well, i wrote them about it. i hope they will support linux so daedalic games can support it too

Actually, none of the Daedalic games run on Wintermute. All of their newer titles are developed with Visionaire, and though there has been some plans of porting the engine to Linux, no real progress seems to have been made. This game is made in Java though, so it should in principle be relatively trivial to port to Linux.
the daedalic games, I had tested, run fine with steam under wine with no problems at least for me, that's my balm. (Tested: all Deponias, Harveys new eyes, The Dark Eye, Whispered World)
i don't want to use wine. it's heavy and buggy. though half of games for linux are heavy and buggy too :(
Now that all of the Deponia's are on Linux, I really hope Edna & Harvey are coming to Linux at some point as well :-)
If I remember correctly, I play pirate version of this game on linux.
with wine?

With a legally acquired copy of the game I hope.

if it will - of course i will buy the game.
