It's the same RaceNet. I'll follow up on the Showdown, I know there is work being done to RaceNet in preparation for the Autosport launch so it could be that which is having a knock on side effect.
That's fixed, good spot!
I can indeed confirm that, you won't have to spend hours fine-tuning controls :)
It's against other players, but you can backfill a grid with AI should you wish. Maximum grid size will be 12.
I'd so want that! I was dissaopinted with GRID 2 because you couldn't do a time trial around the tracks without having AI cars. Autosport definitely needs a time trial mode, I agree
This would be fantastic in the future. I once got into a custom lobby where there were two people doing 5 endurance races at 40 minutes each. I sat there for a few minutes, but ultimately left because there was no way to know what event they were in or for how long. I would have like to get in on that.
Yes for me time trial mode is a basic feature of any race game (of course it means have a descent system against pc cheater, but it's easy to see who cheat and ban him; make a laps in 10 sec...)
I don't even care about cheaters, I just enjoy trying to beat my best times. Loore, will there be time trials?
Yes.
