Earth 2150 Trilogy
Air Transports
Has anyone found the unit transports in Moon Project and Lost Souls actually useful?

Fang here, I'm not too sure if your talking about the unit transporters or the transporters in the campaigns. Unit transporters are pretty good when playing CTF. i remember i played 1 match with a friend (i think just a regular skirmish match) and i had a unit transporter, i just slipped through and stole his last construction vehicle, then i droped it on one of his structures and not only the construction vehicle died, but the structure took damage as well. intresting tactic if you want to kamakise some of your units xP. :advent:

Really? I thought you would of figured it out if i said "the transport from moon project and lost souls." But no, i'm not talking about the unit transporter from the campaigns.

those transporters can transport up to 10 units and 5k credits into the current mission your in if you build units in your main base. ofcourse if you have leftover units and credits from a sucessful mission you just store them and transport them to your main base setting up for the next mission. I do believe unit transporters were only introduced in LS and TMP as well but not in the original.

Yes, the problem with that is you could potentially waste time (i hate the time limit in 2150) so you have to be as quick as you can, send back any unnecessary units so there aren't many to send back after you're finished aswell as sending all your resources when you know you aren't going to build anything. Aswell as that make sure the only structures you build are resource collecters.
