Last I heard, they were investigating it. They haven't come out for or against it, I imagine it's mostly a matter of cost and demand.

I would be good with that. I have a SteamOS machine setup already and in-use. Plus, porting it to SteamOS should mean it'll work similarly on Ubuntu machines :)
