It has taken some time, but finally, DEAD END MISSION has been converted from the old UPBGE to Range Engine! This increases the game's performance in many ways and therefore also increases the gameplay experience!

Loading times are now faster and all the game files are now compact which reduces the game's overall size!

It's just magic!

Important! Most of the saved data files have been moved to other maps, which means that some of the old saved files are not working on this version, to be sure to avoid problems with this new build, reinstall the game and reset all data on menu before playing!

PLAYTESTER UPDATE
I have gotten help from some amazing playtesters and the DEAD END MISSION experience has now been improved!

SWORD BLOCK
Yes! Now you can block enemy attacks with your sword to prevent taking damage!

However, you won't be able to protect yourself with the sword for too long since it needs to recharge. To block attacks, you also need to have good timing! This new mechanic will increase survival. It will block for a short period as soon as you switch to your sword!

And no, you cannot block your friendly fire grenades!

SCOPING SPOTS WEAKPOINTS
The scope will now spot weak points on all mutants! This also means that you can spot the weak points from afar even before you see the mutant! You can only see the weak points when scoping in!

This gives the scope a great advantage during the mission and also shows new players where to shoot.

In DEAD END MISSION, it's not always the headshots that do the most damage!

QUALITY OF LIFE UPDATES
Such as giving the player more context on where to go in the mission. Mutant spawning sound bugs fixed. The first loading cutscene is now darker so you can see the text more clearly, and more!

BALANCE
Normal Meatball Body Health was reduced from 1000 to 700 Health.
Normal Meatball Head Health was reduced from 450 to 300 Health.
Crazed Mutant Body Health was reduced from 800 to 600.
Crazed Mutant Head Health was reduced from 400 to 250.
Queen Guards Grenade Damage was reduced from 500 to 100. (Now resistant)
Queen Guards can now be stunned by sword blocks.
Queen now has a small weak point that deals more damage.
