Majority of KW players are either still paying KW1, or MKW.
Also, with the last changes, hotkeys like closing gates with G are gone, and overlapping building hotkeys with fast building select hotkeys make the game even more annoying to play.
At this point, maybe consider removing development on the multiplayer aspect of KW2 altogether. It seems too much like an incomplete game with it still hanging over you. Then maybe revitalize it if you have the time and resources to put in the work.
In my opinion, the game is still plenty fun if you just focus development on Coop and singleplayer. Without a solid playerbase of at least 1000+ people each month in multiplayer, it's hard to know whether certain things are unbalanced, or simply put to good use through experience. I guess it's hard to balance a game when there's so many aspects to it right away.
Obviously this is up to you, but as one of the players who have put in the most hours in this game (as far as I know, only one has played more hours in total than me). If you focus on fixing the most popular gamemode, zombie survival first, and then maybe updating the AI of bots too, then maybe the game will be more popular by the time of the next sale.
