Try applying a compatibility setting to the game's executable.
Also try to not play in fullscreen; sometimes that helps.
WideWidth=1
WideHeight=1
in the bunny.ini file then in the games config change to to wide windowed mode then just play like that.
I couldn't get this game working properly full screen.
The game shouldn't be displaying black screen in fullscreen anymore
First to get back to Windowed ...
Start the game and once you hear Bunny press:
Right arrow, Right arrow, Z
Now you are on the Game Config Screen, press...
Right, Right, Right, Up, Z
You should hear Bunny, and press Left, Z to quit
If all went well, you can restart it in windowed!
Now for full screen, you can do one of two things...
Use Windows built-in zoom by pressing "Windows key" + "the plus key"
Assuming the accessibility shortcut isn't disabled, it will zoom in after a moment
Edit the settings to 25% zoom increments, and follow the keyboard
300% zoom worked for me (1920x1200).
Alternatively,
=============================================
Install the free OBS recorder software you can google.
Using that, you can capture the Game Window and set it to run a full screen preview, and have a pretty perfect full screen.
Here are most of the settings I used:
After installing and updating OBS
Sources: right click and add Game Capture
Right click that and choose Bunny Must Die's app when it's open.
Next click on Settings...
Under encoding I personally selected Nvidia NVENC, but x264 should work just as well.
Max Bitrate: 10000 (Though there's another setting that might make this obsolete)
Under Video, Base Resolution 640 : 360, no resolution downscale, 60 FPS (or 30)
Under Advanced choose Disable encoding while previewing
Hit OK! Now hit Preview Stream, and right click and select "Preview" and "Enable View" to enable it.
Click on Bunny Must Die's application, and it should show up... mirrored in OBS
If it looks stretch or improper, right click, position/size, Reset Size
Now finally, right click Full-Screen Preview and right click -> Preview -> Scale-to-fit mode
If all is well, it's full screen properly stretched. Now alt-tab to bunny's app and play like normal.
Right, Right, Z
Right, Right, Right, Up, Z
A developer shouldn't have to make a customer do this.

Right, Right, Up
Right, Right, Right, Up fixed the issue, then I was stuck with this little tiny screen afterwards.
The simple fix to this is to go back into the options and choose FULL, and not WIDE FULL and you should have the game up at full screen. This worked for me anyway, and hopefully it'll work for you as well.
