I loved it.

• Jumping doesn't feel good.
  
• Combat can feel finicky a lot of the time, whether it be animation jank or enemy attacks being choreographed as going one way and then immediately flipping to the other side the moment it lands, or even just classic stunlocks.
  
• Bugs, most of which are harmless but if you get pushed into the wall by an enemy there's a risk your save is just lost as there's no way to warp back to a savepoint and reopening the game puts you back where you exited, luckily the 3 times I got stuck I eventually fell off the map and got teleported back in safely.
  
• Rooms don't feel all that interesting and there are very few important landmarks, level design feels the same throughout the different areas, and the world feels like it doesn't have to be as big as it is.
  
• English translation isn't that great and can distract from the story quite a bit.
  
• The controls don't always work when playing on controller, only problem I encountered on keyboard was the 'show stats' key never working as Q (the supposed 'show stats' key) but sometimes randomly works on other buttons (W, F, K, or sometimes even Space).

Despite everything I just wrote, there's a good game here.
It feels like it's made by someone who enjoys the games I do. And although the level layouts could use some work, the backgrounds and scenery were great, the game as a whole has an appealing artstyle.
Music was fine, could've gone without the constant thudding sound effect that goes along with pretty much everything you interact with though.
Some of the boss fights actually felt really exciting, I especially enjoyed the Edward Chester, Hunter of the Lake fight. I went with a no magic build for my first playthrough, the parry skill feels really responsive and made that fight pretty fun. Would've been nice to have more non-magic based skills.

I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed this game, it's at a respectable and fair price, despite it's flaws it feels like there was love put into it. I hope the developer/s aren't discouraged by the negative feedback they received and continue making games.
