Is Overgrowth still in development?

I read about Lugaru years ago, know I have a chance to play it. But I was wondering what is Overgrowth? Is it a sequel? If so I'd rather wait it than get Lugaru. (Is Lugaru worth getting for that matter?)

Also is Overgrowth still being worked on? And would I be able to run it with my specs:

Intel Pentium Dual Core B970 @ 2:3GHz
4 GBs of Ram

Lugaru is very good and fun game, but it takes only 1,5- 2h to finish storyline... Now it is on sale and costs only 3e:D. Also u can finish challenges and it takes more time. It is cheap now and u should buy it.

hey bought overgrowth and it says system error when i try to play it it says im missing FreeImage.dll can anybody please tell me what this and how to get it or what to do?
