here's how to get into debug mode

look for the config.txt in your steam/lugaru directory, edit it with notepad, you will find debug in the file, set the 0 to 1 to activate.

Are you on windows or mac? Oh yeah, you can right click the game in your library, click properties, go to the files section of the properties, and click browse local files to go straight to it's files.

Its currently not working for me, i changed debug to one, its still not working after restarting the game. Also I created a new profile and it still did not update. Can i just not do it, please let me know.

Over a year later, but I did see on the Wolfire wiki page: you will need to edit Debug to 1 on the copy of the config.txt file in your Library folder, not just in the Steam app Browse Files folder. For OSX, it's (user)/Library/Application/Lugaru/Data/Config.txt. (I really wish OSX 10 didn't begin *hiding* the Library folder...
