How do you change the game's default language from simplified Chinese to English?

Subject says it all. Tried clicking all the menu buttons and sub-menu options but never could figure out the sequence that changed the game's language to English. Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Mining: Place a pilot with mecha into a mine to collect e.g. DisasterWood. Press "discard" instead of "start" by accident. Pilot and mecha will be permanently blocked as "Mining". You can not get them back to work at all. Even if that mine space is filled with another mine they stay away. Daily Quests: Sometimes the Quests are finished and the pilot+mecha are set free again, sometimes they just get stuck and stay "questing" with a 0:00:00 timer.
