worth $3.99?
I read some of the reviews and most of them say that the game is almost never finished because the story is longer than the enjoyment you get from the process of playing the game. So is the game worth $3.99?

If you like turn base rpg it is worth $60.

I'm playing for the first time... I'd say go for it, if you're into the genre. It's very combat focused and not a whole lot else going on (shops are lacking, and so is the exploration/RPG-y part).

I've been wary of it, since most people seem to reach points in the game that are impossible to win because of non-optimal builds.

So far, I've chosen Hunter and things are going well enough. Some of the fights are quite a challenge, but a couple of tries usually gets the job done, with a better understanding of the fight.

I prefer RPGs like Dragon Age, with a whole lot more than just combat, but for what it is, it seems pretty good.

It's a marvelous gem. Can't believe it got so many bad reviews - I think much of the bad reviews has to do with 1) people not liking "hard" games; and 2) people expecting this to be a more traditional RPG with more things to do (exploring, crafting, etc.).
just buyed today because i like TBC/S games and the price is very attractive for the content available from the description !

I just finished the game and I say it's definitely worth it. But of course, depends if you like turn based strategies or not. It takes a while at the begining to find your way through different skills you can upgrade for your heroes, but once you're settled in the game it's really enjoyable experience.

I do like turn based strat games, but there are a lot of reviews that say after about 20 minutes of playing this game, it just repeats itself over and over again.

I bought it for the four bucks and I'd say it is worth at least 20. Of course I like turn based combat and this one is different from the crowd because it is difficult, requires strategy and planning, brings interesting luck based dice rolls and unpredictability, and stuff like that. The RPG part is, frankly, not really there at all, but still, I think it is a great game.

To be honest, if you need someone standing outside McDonalds to tell you whether its worth the $4 to buy a Big-Mac, then god help you when really important decisions in life come along. Most sandwiches cost more than that, and you would probably buy them without getting opinions from everyone.

There are enough You-tube playthroughs that you should be able to figure it out for yourself based on the 100s of hours of footage out there.

Game is excellent but at sometimes can be frustrating. You need to alternate strategy and think hard about your next move.I personally think that it did'nt get the ratings because people were getting pissed at being killed. For me thats what makes this game because when you complete a difficult fight you feel has if you have accomplished something unlike other softer less hard games. For this price buy it.but make sure you dont give up too easy.

More than worth it. There are a couple of things that annoyed me, but they were my own mistakes that made things harder, like forgetting to convince someone to drug an upcoming enemy in a certain part of the game.
