Has anyone actually beaten this game?

I've never even come close to beating this game. I have never seen anyone claim to have beaten the game. Even the semi-pro gamers on YouTube are not beating this game.
If you have done it, how? I reckon it's almost impossible unless all difficulty options are set at easy, and you have a full team of customised 5* characters. May be not even then?

I have beaten the game many, many times. I even have all of the achievements to prove it. Some of the finer aspects of the commands take time to understand, but you should be able to beat Roadkill and Deadline eventually.

Try playing with zombie spawns to a minimum and supplies to maximum to do what you need to. You can still get all the achievements this way.

Never used that technique myself but that can also help you beat the game. I still think it's a funny term.

Very much beatable without using custom survivors or tweaking settings. There's just a lot of little tricks that make the game much easier, like using gasoline to lure the herd around town to keep them away from you.

The only problem with that is you can't leave the same hour you start the bonfire, so if you do that you need to pray that the house doesn't immediately get surrounded and bear feet immediately or else you'll lose whoever you sent there.

@Umbrella, I never seem to have an issue with getting out after a bonfire, except when the house is already surrounded by a horde. I have also come really close to beating Roadkill, just needed to patch up the car, had all the supplies en-route when I got swarmed.

I've beaten both Roadkill and Deadline before. I actually found Deadline easier, as it is far quicker to split the party up, so no bickering, and you only have a week to scour the town for the clues you need, so no stopping to barricade buildings as you go on.

Game after patches is just too easy. I never used any bonefires etc. I have beaten it even before survivor behaviours patch:) Love hard games like this
