Local Multiplayer?

What does Local multiplayer entail in this game? Is it splitscreen, or local as in lan? Can I plug 3 controllers up to my computer and play with my friends? I've had some trouble finding the details online or in forums, so if anyone could provide some insight I would be grateful.

Screen is shared I believe, it's not LAN. I've seen some people struggling with more than one controller plugged in, but I thought I saw someone else say they managed to get 2 working (not sure).

Is it four player or two player? This game looks pretty interesting and Im a fan of the developer, but I'd like to know what I'm paying for before I get it.

Honestly? I don't know enough about local play, so I can't really give advice. It seems people have been having issues though, so maybe not risk it. Better off getting your friends to buy it too and play it online with them.

Just did a quick test. Up to four player couch co-op, same screen, using wireless 360 controllers. No problems.

Can't tell you much about the gameplay in co-op, but the game is awesome IMO. Looks and plays great and provides planty of challange. As long as you know what you are getting into (roguelike shooter with high risk of pain) you will like it.
