Yea I like the game too. The next update sounds like it could be really interesting, so I'm looking forward to this!

As someone who played the original Rainbow Six and Rouge Spear games, I have been looking forward to a game like this.

There will be one video per day from Friday onwards. So bigger levels should come in a few days ;)

Thanks for the Let's Plays! Once I saw this game in the store I nearly impulse bought it, but these videos make it clear that its going to be a while before I'm remotely interested. Seems like there's very few features implemented at this point. My main issue, however, is the fact that your SWATs seem to need a rediculous amount of micromanaging to be successful. I was hoping that it would be possible to create a plan and watch your SWATs execute it without having to intervene directly, barring an major emergency or planning gaffe. I'd be fine if this wasn't possible for the entire level, but it doesnt even look like its possible on a room to room basis.

Hi Tom, you shouldn't draw any conclusions after watching just one playstyle. It's definitely possible to create a plan for the entire map with little micromanaging afterwards.

Tactic Ion did a series of videos with this idea in mind, draw a single plan at the start and watch it unfold. And he did it with the first ever version of the game, the latest version makes it all a lot easier with Go codes and the AI being able to respond automaticaly when fired upon.

Of course currently it's lacking a lot of features and the finished game will be more complex but also more expensive, probably it will be around 20$. Not to mention getting the game now helps the devs to keep working on the game without the constant fear of running out of funds before they finish it.

But I advise you to only buy the game if you think you'll enjoy it in its current state, otherwise just follow it and see if it will change your mind.

Hey Bogdan, thanks for the video link. I'll grant you that playthrough style looked a little more intriguing, but in each video I checked out in order to stand a chance he still had to take control of a trooper's point of view and manually point him at the bad guys in order to actually be successful. I think I'll adopt a wait an see policy and hope that the AI progresses to a point where one can focus less on micromanaging individual troopers and more on the planning and tactics themselves.

He is playing on an old build, where he has no checkpoints and side stepping. It might be possible to do it without touching anything outside of planning phase with the newest build.
