Maps & Random Generator

Been playing 46+ hours and love the sim. In playing the randomly generated maps I keep getting the same 3-4 maps. I ought to know the answer by now but can't figure out how/why other maps are not included or don't appear to be in the mix.

Since you've been playing 46 hours, you'll be happy to know there are exactly 46 random maps at the moment, each of them being completely randomized (you won't get the same 2 versions of gameplay on the same map ever).

Perhaps you're only getting 3-4 maps because of the options selected (only small maps for example, or just a certain scenario type). And the reason for that is that we haven't perfected the generator yet (and it hasn't been improved in the last 2-3 updates). We're working on it and it will be much improved in the next updates.

Until then you should leave all options to "Random".

Awesome I was wondering why I was only getting a few locations for missions. Set some of the parameters to random except for mission type because I was trying to do defusual missions. Only got four or so. Guess ill just try some other game modes until the update.

Yeah, after hearing from the dev, it makes sense that selecting parameters to other than "random' does seem to limit maps. This is a great game and I can't wait for the fully funtioning map editor.
