Undo Changes button?

I can't quite explain how infuriating it is to spend 5 minutes making an intricate path to suddenly erase all of it by accident from dragging at the wrong part of it. Please, is there a way to have some sort of undo button?

Devs talked about editing path in DK2.

I've actually found a way, but you can't use it when playing ironman campaign.

When you want to "save" your plan hit spacebar and start the mission, and then hit esc and restart (just make sure you have ticked the checkbox which keeps the previous plan before you confirm your unit selection). If you later need to load the plan then simply hit esc and restart without starting the mission.

It's definitely not an intended feature, but it sure is helpful. Especially if your plans resemble something like this:

Thanks Gekkibi! I'd noticed that restarting saves the plan but I hadn't intended to use it as a pseudo-save feature. While it's not perfect, it's better than nothing!
