As for your second point, it sounds like you want control over what endings will be in the pool. Sorry, but each ending is always a possibility. The only restriction is that some (with sun icons) can't be played hidden.
I don't think it would be a good idea to control what endings are in the pool (again because players will have to go through a big long list to make sure they like the selection) but maybe the choice to select one specific ending can be implemented.
My apologies for creating a misunderstanding. I don't want any specific ending, which is why I like the hidden endings house rule. What happened is I played assuming that there could be a number of potential endings. In reality, there was only one because I had neglected to set the house rule (which is, of course, my own fault). I was just hoping that there was a way for the game to help me from making the same mistake again, but it sounds that at this time there isn't.
