help with fate

I have been playing this game without a problem for a while now and all of a sudden when i open it my screens just flash then i can see the icon in the task bar and if i click it then it just happens again help anyone?

I have the same issue. This is not the first game to do exactly this same thing that steam has sold.

Ok here is a fix.

Go to your start menu and in your searh bar copy and paste the following

notepad %programdata%\WildTangent\FateSteam\Persistent\config.dat

This will open up a config file in notepad. "WARNING MAKE SURE THAT FATE IS NOT RUNNING WHEN YOU DO THIS"


Now alter the SCREENHEIGHT to fit your screen resolution
Then alter your SCREENWIDTH to fit your screen resolution.

Save the file.
Launch Fate should work now.

I don't have config.dat..... 3 times I have re-install this game
