Is it possible to get a Flawless Perch? Or am I just really unlucky?

It's definitely possible, as I've caught a few. I think your chances increase the deeper you go in the dungeon.

Cool! I didn't think anyone would respond! Your comment is very helpful, I want "Best in Show", but something useful. Not a Creeping Widow. I'll try going deeper into the dungeon and fishing once my game is up and running again.

When you get deeper in the dungen you can buy flawless fish from the fish monger.

Thanks. If I can find Pikko or Rikko (whichever one is the one that sells fish) on a lower dungeon level, or find a fishing spot deeper in the dungeon, I'll try to catch or buy one.

Usually the deeper you go into the dungeons, the more exotic the fish become, as well as their time durations. I'm pretty sure that every fish has a "flawless" time duration to it, so don't worry, you're not unlucky. You just gotta keep looking!

Awesome! I want "Best in Show", but a Creeping Widow is too cliche. I wanted the Perch because the Lava Beetle is my favorite enemy (okay, the FROST BEETLE is, but they don't have a transformation fish for that :( ).
