Question about descendant characters

When you create a descendant character, does it randomize a new dungeon?

ok thanks, and if i pass down a piece of armor or weapon, will they be able to use it from the start or will they need to upgrade their stats before they can use it?

They still need to have the stats to wield the weapon or put on the armor. That is why people generally pass down rings or necklaces with lots of stats, because they can always be used.

ok thanls, i passed down my amulet to my descendant. only reason i made a descendant is because my original character got stuck on lvl 47 because of a generation bug where a stack of indestructible barrels spawned in front of the only door way to the rest of the floor. sucks alot.

every dungeon is random so level one could be lava while your other profile has it as a regular stone one with water holes everywhere.

i think if you go up 5 or so level then back down the level might be respawned different. I've never experienced unbreakable barrels have you tryed magic, bow, and spears?
