Spacebase DF-9

[BUG?] I hit "New Base" right before saving and quitting the game, and now I've broken it.
I know this game is no longer in development and I'm not sure if anyone still checks in here anymore, but I'm having a big problem right now and am hoping someone can help me. The other day before saving my game, I hit new base to clear out my old broken one and start over fresh and new. I had to leave home, though, so I didn't start construction or even deploy a seed before saving and quitting out of the game. Now, when I try to play it it shows me this version of my old base with very broken counters:

I can select the option to create a new base again, but after I've chosen my sector and deployed the pod the screen just goes black. I can't play anymore. I have a feeling it's some registry issue I'll have to fix since a simple reinstall wouldn't work, but I'm not comfortable poking around in those places without a guide.

Anyway, this has been my major time waster for the past few days and it's making me very sad that I can't play it. If anyone has any suggestions for how to fix this or ways to help, I'd really appreciate it :steamsad:

So this was a super simple solution. I had autosave enabled in the settings, so every time I deleted the old save and started the game it plopped a new one from the old data in my files and kept the problem going. I disabled autosave and now it's gone, so I can finally play again.

Thank you very much!
