Getting Help

In order to help you effectively, we need to know about your system!

• Operating System - Windows 7 64bit
  
• System Specs - i7 2.4GHz, 8GB ram, running on SSD
  
• What your issue is - crash after beating level 1

Log File

If you are experiencing a crash, please email your log file to [e-mail] with the above info.

Windows:

SteamApps/common/ElectronicSuperJoy/ElectronicSuperJoy_Data/output_log.txt

Linux:

~/.config/unity3d/Michael Todd Games/Electronic Super Joy/Player.log

Mac:

~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log

Save File

We may sometimes ask you to send us your save file. The save file is located in one of two places. The first is the priority location and will only exist if your computer was unable to upload the file to SteamCloud.

Unstable Branch

Sometimes, we will push a new build to the unstable branch in Steam with new features, bug fixes, and probably more new bugs. The unstable branch is set to the same build as the default branch every time a full release is made. Do not switch to the unstable branch unless you are asked to by a developer it's probably more greif than it's worth.

To change branches, in your steam games list, right click on Electronic Super Joy, click Properties, then switch to the Betas tab.
Select "unstable - Unstable" from the drop down menu, and click close.
You may need to restart Steam, or wait a few minutes in order for Steam to start the download of the unstable build.
If the download doesn't start, check that the changed dropdown in the betas menu saved.

The unstable build will have all the latest fixes, but is unstable and may not always work, crash randomly, or have other unexpected behaviour.
